And I cannot lie! But seriously though, how amazing is this purple bow top? And it is currently on sale! Actually, every piece of this outfit is currently at least half off! Don’t you love this time of year?
One of the reasons I love Paris is that I find it so aesthetically inspiring. The architecture and effortless chicness of Parisians motivates me to be my most fashionable self. When I spotted this taffeta bow blouse on sale at Tory Burch, I knew it was just the statement piece I needed for Paris. When I stumbled on this skirt, which is ridiculously cheap but looks expensive, and this chic winter white coat, the look came together on its own. Of course, this top can styled not so over-the-top for work with dark jeans and a structured blazer.
I shot this look in Paris in some of my favorite squares — the Palais Royal and the Place Vendôme. The Palais Royal is home to those famous black and white columns and Café Kitsune. It also has a pretty garden in the middle and is one of my favorite retreats in Paris. The Palais Royal always seems to remain remarkably peaceful, no matter what time of year I visit (of course the column area can get crowed with tourists take photos).
Not far from the Palais Royal is the Place Vendôme, which is equally chic, but always busier. This square is home to the most famous fashion houses as well as the chicest and most exclusive hotels. It is definitely where you want to go to see and be seen. I am particularly fond of this square during the holidays since the flagship stores of brands like Louis Vuitton go all out with their holiday decor.
