Spring Pastels

I know what you are thinking. Pastels for spring? Groundbreaking.

While definitely not new or groundbreaking for spring, pastels always return this time of year with vengeance. And I love it! I know as soon as I see pastel, candy-colored new arrivals in stores and online, spring is just around the corner (contrary to what that stupid groundhog says).

Pastels are not always the easiest colors to wear. That said, I personally think they are bit easier to pull off when done in a pattern or multiple colors. Let’s face, no one is going to look good in head-to-toe pastel. I am particularly fond of pastel stripes, like this sweater. The oversized stripes give it a trendy vibe, while the soft hues of the pastel colors give it a romantic, spring feeling. And despite its over-sized shape, the drape of the sweater keeps it flattering. Sadly it is already sold out. Guess I was not the only one who fell in love with it at first sight. There is a beige version here, and a similar striped sweater here.

But, if you can’t get your hands on this pretty sweater, don’t worry. There are plenty of great pastel options out there at the moment, like my amazing candy-colored Gult Gaia bag and this pretty pink trench. I have rounded up some more of my favorite pastel pieces below!
