I am not sure what is more perfect, this tile-print dress or this view!
I only recently discovered this Australian brand, Camilla. I was scrolling through Shopbop before my trip and stopped instantly when I saw this gorgeous, almost baroque, tile print. It immediately reminded me of the Amalfi Coast. And I knew exactly where I wanted to wear it, the gorgeous terrace of the hotel Il San Pietro. San Pietro is a hotel just outside Positano that overlooks the city and sea. While it is a little too remote for my taste to stay at (just a personal preference), it is a 10 min cab ride away from Positano and the perfect spot for sunset drinks. You will want to get there a little early if you want to snag one of their tiled benches overlooking Positano. Both Allie and I opted for rossinis — prosecco with fresh strawberry puree — to sip while watching the sun sink behind the region’s famous hills.
This was only our first night in Positano, so after drinks we headed back to our hotel, Le Sirenuse, for an early dinner and some much needed rest to combat our jetlag. But don’t worry, there is much more Positano to come!
