Recently, I have received a bunch of requests to share my bedroom. Sadly, it was the last room to come together in my new apartment (you can see the rest of my apartment tour here). I started work and was traveling a bunch, so the bedroom just kind of sat for a while. But, when I returned home from Italy, I was determined to finish it. All that was left to do was some minor rearranging and to find bedside tables, and artwork.
I took some gorgeous pictures in Amalfi this summer, so I knew I wanted to create one large statement-piece over my bed (like I did above my desk). I decided to frame my favorite image from Capri, the gorgeous La Fontelina beach club. I shot this early in the morning I love the way the final image turned out — very vintage and almost frozen in time. It reminded me of the beach club in its heyday when the likes of Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren, and Clark Gable visited.
The other good news is that since it took me so long to finally finish this room, a lot of the bedding is now on clearance! I love my striped shams and matching coverlet from Serena and Lilly. Both are currently half off (if not more)! The bedside tables and dresser are both IKEA “hacks.” It is not much of a hack, I just replaced the silver draw pulls with gold ones I found on amazon. Both are from the Tyssedal line.
I’ve linked everything else below, enjoy!
