I don’t know about you, but I hate getting dressed up for work this time of year. It is freaking hot work clothes are not known for being easy or breezy. To add insult to injury, I work in an old building which doesn’t seem to be able to keep a constant temperature. It can be super sweaty or freezing. So, I am always hunting for easy to wear and lightweight dresses that I can throw a blazer over if needed.
This silk, short-sleeve shirt dress is the perfect summer work dress. I added the pussy bow and casual accessories for Charleston, but it also works with heels and a blazer. If you really want to get creative, you could even wear it as a top with a skirt. I also love the pretty pastel floral pattern. It can also easily transition into the fall with leather leggings and a jacket.
