This dress is pretty much the bee’s knees. I mean, a slightly oversized poplin shirt dress in an oxford stripe with an understated bee pattern, what is not to love?
I have always been a sucker for Kate Spade’s whimsical pieces. But I particularly love when Kate Spade masters the wearable whimsy. While lobster shaped purses are fun, pieces like this have the same playful feel, but are far more wearable in your real, non-Instagram life. And the best part? This dress easily transitions from work, to weekend, and to travel.
Allie and I shot these while in Nashville at the gorgeous Cheekwood gardens and estate. Such a hidden gem in Nashville and well worth a visit. It was crazy cold when we went, but the tulips were still blooming and it looked like spring, even if it did not feel like it!
I am loving a lot of Kate Spade’s prints and patterns at the moment, so I have rounded up some of my favorites below!
